You should start your chilli seeds indoors, either in a greenhouse or on a windowsill, as this keeps them warm for their success. Transplant them in the garden after the danger of frost has passed and when the soil temperature is consistently around 20°C. Water them regularly and feed them with quality fertiliser as they grow. Once the fruits reach your desired colour, pick them gently to avoid snapping the branches.
