Tulip Apeldoorn
Botanical Name: Tulipa hybrida
Dazzling red and very early to flower. One of the most popular and reliable tulips. Tulips are originally from Turkey and Iran and found their second home in Holland during the last years of the 16th century.
How To Grow | Plant: 10-15cm deep 10cm apart in full sun or part shade. Grow them in a well prepared, good draining soil or, if growing in pots, choose a good quality potting mix. In our climate, tulips are best treated as annuals although in cooler areas they can be lifted and stored in a cool place for replanting next season. |
