Lupins are a nitrogen-fixing perennial in the pea family. The green palmate foliage first appears in early Spring, followed by tall flower spires in late Spring and Summer.
Each stem can hold up to 100 individual pea-like flower buds and make for excellent cut flowers.
They thrive in cooler climates and add cottage appeal to any garden especially when mass planted.
How To Grow | Lupins grow a strong tap root, so should not be moved or lifted once planted. Suitable for pots. Height: 90cm Plant: Crown at surface 40-50cm apart in full sun/part shade
