Patio Snacker Cucumber Seeds
Grow your own cucumbers with Patio Snacker cucumber seeds from Mr Fothergill’s. This popular variety of cucumber seeds produces an abundance of 20cm fruits with great flavour, crunch and a bitter-free peel.
A compact plant with short-branching 60-75cm vines, the Patio Snacker cucumber is specially selected to grow in containers or small garden spaces – so you can harvest good crops of tasty, nutritious vegetables from your patio, balcony or courtyard. Its consistent fruit production means you can enjoy a steady supply of fresh cucumbers even from a single plant!
The Patio Snacker is a parthenocarpic variety that develops fruit without the need for fertilisation, resulting in sterile fruit with minimal seeds. Cucumbers may have mini spines which can be easily removed with a cloth or sponge.

How To Grow
Sow your Patio Snacker cucumber seeds in pots or garden beds 12mm (½ in) deep, with 2 or 3 seeds in each clump, thinning them out later on to the two strongest seedlings. Allow 30-40cm (12-16 in) between rows and clumps. Keep well watered and prepare the soil with organic material and fertiliser. Pick regularly for continued harvests. Your cucumber seedlings should emerge after 6-10 days.

Important Note
These seeds may be treated with a fungicide (Thiram or Apron XL), do not eat the seeds or feed them to animals.
Fungicide treatment is an AQIS requirement for certain varieties of seeds. It does not affect your crops or harm insects such as bees.
If your packet has been treated it will be well marked with a warning and the seeds will be dyed a distinct colour.
