The name ‘Balloon Flower’ comes from the buds which swell up like a balloon then burst open to reveal graceful star-like blooms. A herbaceous perennial, they will disappear each Winter but re-emerge in Spring.
How To Grow | Sow seeds thinly 5mm (¼in) deep. Cover lightly, firm down and keep moist. Seedlings emerge 14-28 days.When large enough, transplant 20cm (8in) apart in flowering position. Keep moist and weed free. |
