Alyssum Violet Queen
Botanical Name: Lobularia maritima
A low maintenance compact flowering plant that creates masses of richly coloured violet flowers. The small fragrant blooms are loved by beneficial pollinators and are a beautiful boarder plant. Easy to grow and ideal for pots and patios alyssum is adapted to a range of conditions. Ideal for home gardeners as flowers appear in a relatively short time.

| How To Grow | Sow 5mm (1/4in) deep in clumps spaced 7-10cm (3-4in) apart. Cover lightly and keep moist. Seedlings appear in 10-14 days. Thin seedlings out to 25cm (10in) apart where necessary. Keep well-watered and feed regularly with liquid fertiliser to promote flowering. |
