Botanical Name: Curcuma petiolata syn. C cordata
A stunning and tall, tropical style plant with lush foliage, producing a profusion of long lasting flowers.
Suitable for growing in a sheltered position in the garden or in a large pot, Curcuma flowers last a few weeks as a cut flower and longer if left on the plant. Like many Curcumas, this variety is dormant until late Spring then flowers from mid Summer until mid Autumn. Prefers full sun but tolerates part shade.
