A small hardy shrub that fruits early Summer. The multiple branches produce numerous flowers that develop into small dark and delicious berries that are rich in flavour and vitamin C.
How To Grow
Prefers a full sun position with damp, fertile, well-draining soil and benefits from being sheltered from cold winds. When established, currants are frost tolerant and require little watering.
Plant: Cover roots 60cm apart in full sun.
When To Plant
Late Autumn / Winter
