Asparagus Purple (Limited Edition)
Botanical Name: Asparagus officinalis
Sweeter than its green cousin, Asparagus Purple is full of antioxidants, elevating the delicious spears to ‘super food’ status. Eat raw or only lightly cooked to keep the unusual purple colouring.
How To Grow | A high yielding plant, Asparagus is easy to grow and produces multiple spears during its peak period. Very productive, spears require regular picking. Asparagus becomes more productive with age and will continue to produce spears for decades. Plant 10cm deep, 100cm apart in full sun. |
