How To Grow

Growing Instructions (included with kit)

Chilli - Jalapeno

When: Spring to Summer, later in warmer regions.

Where: In seed trays or in fertile well drained garden soil or pots.

How: 5mm (¼") deep, cover with fine soil and keep watered.

Care: Pick regularly to encourage further fruit growth.

Harvest: As required, 12-14 weeks from sowing.


Pumpkin - Golden Nugget

When: Spring to Summer, all year in warm areas.

Where: In a prepared garden bed.

How: Sow seed 15mm (½") deep direct into final position.

Sow: 3-4 seeds in clumps, later thinning to two strongest seedlings.

Care: Seedlings emerge in 7-14 day s. Allow 100cm (3') between rows and 50cm (20") between clumps. Keep

plants well watered.

Harvest: 16-20 weeks from sowing.


Sweet Corn - Miracle Fl

When: Spring to Summer, later in warm areas.

Where: Direct where they are to grow in a sunny position that offers shelter from strong winds.

How: Sow 2.5cm (1") deep into growing position. Cover with fine soil and firm down gently. Keep watered. Grow in 2m (6.5') rows, 50cm (20") apart.

Care: Water regularly, particularly in hot weather. For succession, follow up sowing should occur when first plants are 20cm (8") tall.

Harvest: 12-16 weeks from sowing .


Tomatillo - Toma Verde

When: Early Spring to Summer.

Where: In pots or troys of seed-raising mix in a sunny but sheltered position.

How: Sow seed 6mm (¼") deep, firm down gently and keep watered. Seedlings appear 7-21 days.

Care: Transfer to final growing position when sturdy enough, spacing plants 50cm (20") apart. Grow 2 or more plants to ensure pollination.

Harvest: 12-14 weeks from sowing when husks turn brown.
