An excellent variety for the home gardener as it is slow to bolt and strong against downy mildew. The full flavoured peppery leaves are delicious mixed into salads. Enjoy the tasty crisp leaves in a matter of weeks. A great source of vitamin C and fibre.
How To Grow | Sow thinly 5mm (1/4in) deep in rows 30cm (12in) apart. Cover with a fine layer of soil and firm gently. Keep soil moist. Seedlings appear in 6-10 days. Thin out seedlings to 30cm (12in) apart. Keep moist and weed free. Feed with a liquid fertiliser regularly. |
