How To Grow | Sow in well cultivated soil and sunny position. Separate the strips and roll out into prepared rows that are 5mm (1/4”) deep and 40cm (15”) apart. Cover with soil and keep moist. Thin seedlings to 30cm (1’) apart when large enough to handle. Pick individual leaves or the whole plant when young and tasty. Seedlings emerge 7-14 days. Seed tapes are easy to use and require less thinning. Time sowings for when temperatures are mild to avoid plants going to seed. |
