Grass Hair Kit - Replacement Ryegrass Seeds
Botanical Name: Lolium multiflorum
Replacement Ryegrass seeds for your Mr Fothergill's grass hair kit. Ryegrass is very easy to grow year round indoors and outdoors.
This is the same grass supplied in all our grass hair kits except Kittens and Puppies which contain Cat Grass. Ryegrass is safe for animal consumption, alternatively you can purchase cat grass seeds.
If you wish to purchase soil pellets, we suggest using the Jiffy starter set.
| How To Grow | Ryegrass Growing Tips: 1. When replacing the seeds in your grass hair kit you can either rehydrate the soil in your pot or use seed raising mix from your local garden centre. To rehydrate the soil in your pot add a spoonful of water at a time until it looks moist but not wet. 2. Open the sachet of seeds and sprinkle evenly over the soil. Lightly press seeds into the soil. Keep soil evenly moist. 3. Place your pot in a warm sunny position, a windowsill is ideal. Within 7 days seeds will sprout. After a few more days your pets hair will grow tall. When it reaches about to 5 to 7cm high it is ready to be cut and styled. |
