Dutch Iris Discovery Purple
Botanical Name: Iris x hollandica
Impressive deep purple petals beautifully contrasted with a touch of gold. This variety has particularly strong growth, and when cut and brought inside, has a long vase life.
Dutch Iris are proven to be hardy plants in the garden that provide late Spring colour. The Discovery series is a new generation that has stronger growth and a longer vase life. As they grow quite tall, they are best if planted at the back of beds and borders. They also make an impressive show when planted in groups.
