How To Grow

Sow Spring and Summer, all year round in warm northern areas, 25mm (1”) deep in damp soil direct where they are to grow.

Sow 10-15cm (4-6”) apart, allowing 50-60cm (20-24”) between rows.

Ensure the danger of frosts has passed, and protect plants from wind.

Apply a pre-planting fertiliser in a band to the side or just below the seed.

Keep well watered and mulch around roots in hot weather.

For continuous crops make the next sowing when previous sowings develop their first true leaves.

Seedlings emerge 7-10 days.

When To Plant
