Tulip Queensland
Botanical Name: Tulipa hybrida
An extraordinary variety with pink double blooms that are crowned with a lovely deep frill. Double Tulips have long lasting blooms and they slowly unravel the layers of delicate petals into what can only be described as a profusion of colour. Tulips prefer a full sun to part shade position and are ideal for pots and containers.
How To Grow | Plant: 10-15cm deep 10cm apart in full sun or part shade. Grow them in a well prepared, good draining soil or, if growing in pots, choose a good quality potting mix. In our climate, tulips are best treated as annuals although in cooler areas they can be lifted and stored in a cool place for replanting next season. |
