Tulip Negrita
Botanical Name: Tulipa hybrida
Extremely popular and considered one of the prettiest lilac cultivars. An impressive sight with large, deep purple petalled blooms on tall sturdy stems. Mid to late season flowering.
How To Grow | Plant: 10-15cm deep 10cm apart in full sun or part shade. Grow them in a well prepared, good draining soil or, if growing in pots, choose a good quality potting mix. In our climate, tulips are best treated as annuals although in cooler areas they can be lifted and stored in a cool place for replanting next season. |
