Daylily Stella D'Oro (season: Winter)
Dense clump of attractive green foliage with upright stems of fragrant golden yellow flowers. This variety will flower through most of the year and is suitable for all climates and soils.
How To Grow | Plant: 10cm deep 30cm apart in full sun or part shade. Daylilies are colourful, long flowering, drought and frost resistant, low maintenance perennials. They are one of the easiest plants to grow, and most popular sun-loving flowering plants. Each bloom lasts just one day but each stem can have up to 15 blooms, and most are constantly reblooming throughout the warmer months. They need 5 – 7 hours of sun every day, respond well to lots of organic matter in the soil and require little water once established. Grow them as a border, in pots or even on steep banks. |
