Bearded Iris Babbling Brook (season: Winter)
Botanical Name: Iris x germanica
An extremely hardy, easy to grow and eye-catching plant with large flowers and multiple blooms on tall stems. These unusual soft lavender coloured flowers with white contrasts make a lovely display in late Spring. For best display plant in clumps in open sunny positions in the garden. An application of lime is beneficial for acid soils. When planting keep the top of the rhizome at soil surface. Lift and divide plants after two years.
