Allium Drumstick
Botanical Name: Allium sphaerocephalon
Allium Drumsticks look amazing when planted en masse, but they also make a good companion for ornamental grasses and will mix well with most perennials. Plant Alliums into well drained soil in a sunny position. They need at least six hours sun and a warm spot in the garden in order to thrive. Allium bulbs are best left to naturalise; lifting and dividing only as they become overcrowded. For best blooms, add a well balanced fertiliser in Spring and Autumn.
