A highly attractive and very unusual round zucchini with bright yellow skin. Fruits are best harvsted at around 5cm (2in) in diameter for best flavour and texture. Try these novel zucchinis in a stir-fry or salad for extra flavour!
When to plant: Spring and Summer, all year in warm climates. How to grow: Sow seeds 12mm (half-inch) deep directly into the final position. Sow 2 or 3 seeds together and thin to the strongest seedling when they emerge. Allow 90cm (3ft) between rows and space plants 90cm (3ft) apart. Prepare the soil well by adding organic matter and a complete fertilizer and keep seedlings well-watered. For early crops sow seeds in punnets or trays and plant out when strong enough. The first crops are ready about 10 weeks from sowing. Cut fruit when approximately 5cm (2in) in diameter and harvest regularly. Harvest: 10 weeks after sowing.
