A classic, richly flavoured Italian plum tomato. Semi-determinate. Organic seed.
When to plant: Spring
How to grow: Sow into trays of moist seed compost. Cover with a fine layer of soil and firm in gently. Cover the tray with glass or polythene and keep at 18C (65F). Remove covers when seedlings appear. When large enough, transfer to 9cm (3.5in) pots. Grow on at 15C (60F) and stand outdoors for a few days in October to harden off. The plant the plants 60cm (24in) apart in December in a well prepared grow bag. Provide support for the plants and pinch out side shoots as they grow. Keep moist and evenly watered. Harvest: Summer and Autumn
