Swan Peach Myrtle

Features flowers that resemble peach blossom, and forms a sturdy shrub to about 1.5m high. The flowers appear along the leaf axils in Spring and make good cut flowers that last well. The plants should be placed in a well-drained position and pruned periodically to maintain a neat and compact shape.

We recommend the use of Wildflower Seed Starter Granules for improved germination rates and speed. These granules provide chemicals normally found in bushfire smoke that stimulate native seed germination.

When to plant: All year round ecept in hottest or coldest weather.
How to grow: In warm areas anytime. In frost prone areas when danger of frost is over. Fill pot or seed tray with moist sandy soil, wet thoroughly and compress. Sow seeds thinly on the surface and cover with light soil mix to the thickness of the seeds. It is beneficial to add Wildflower Seed Starter granules to soil surface. Keep moist. Cover with clear polythene – remove when seeds start to germinate. Place in warm shady position to germinate fully.
