When to plant: Late Summer and Autumn
How to grow: Sow 3mm deep direct where they are to flower or in seed trays using seed-raising mix. Firm down and keep moist. Choose a sunny position with very well-drained soil - they hate 'wet feet'. Enrich the soil with plenty of organic matter and a little preplanting fertiliser. Keep the soil moist during germination but try not to overwater when established as they like slightly dry conditions. Flowers: After 18 weeks from sowing
