This value pack contains a full 10g of seed for those who have a larger-than-usual garden, or who prefer to buy their seed in the traditional way. White Lisbon is the ideal salad onion. Quick growing, it has a mild flavour. Spring Onions grow on most soils, but do best on well-dug and manured ground. They prefer an open sunny position.
When to plant: Year round
How to grow: Sow thinly, 15mm (quarter-inch) deep in rows 15cm (6in) apart. No thinning is necessary, but keep plants well watered, particularly in dry weather. Make successive sowings every 4-6 weeks. Harvest: 8-12 weeks
