A carpet of colour, bright yellow flowers with prominent eyes on slender branched stems. Superb cut flower. Flowers first year from an early sowing.
When to plant: Spring and early Summer
How to grow: Sow in a seed bed. Keep moist. Thin out to prevent overcrowding. Plant out to flowering position in September-October.
In trays, sow thinly 0.25in (0.5cm) deep in pots or trays of seed compost. Keep moist and warm, 15-20C (60-68F). Thin (prick out) to other trays or pots when seedlings are large enough to handle. Gradually harden off before planting out in early December, spacing 18in (45cm) apart. Flowers: Summer to late Autumn
