A wonderful, briliantly coloured container plant, especially if you want something a little different. This sun loving flower will tolerate quite dry conditions and stay open longer than others. An annual, flowering the same year. Prefers a sunny, sheltered postion and well drained soil.
When to plant: Spring and early Summer
How to grow: Sow 5mm (quarter inch) deep in flowering position. Scatter thinly and rake in, just covering the seeds with soil. Keep moist. Feed with liquid fertiliser when buds appear. Water only when the plants show signs of wilting. Flowers: All Summer
