Polyanthus 'Harlequin'

For a really glorious splash of early Spring colour, few plants can match Polyanthus. At home in borders, tubs, window boxes, pots and rock gardens, this selection offers large flowers in many brilliant colours. A hardy perennial, flowers the following year in sun or partial shade.

When to plant: Autumn to early Winter
How to grow: Sow seed thinly onto a good seed compost, and cover lightly. Keep compost moist and at a temperature of 15-17C (60-65F). Germination will take between 15 and 30 days at least. Thin seedlings to other trays as necessary. Pot on to individual pots and finally transplant to flowering position in late spring.

Flowers: Late Winter to mid Spring
