Always popular in the border and an excellent cut flower. The colours in this selection include white, pink, rose-red, light and dark blue. The dried seed pods are splendid in flower arrangements. A hardy annual flowering the same year. Prefers a sunny position.
When to plant: Spring to mid Summer
How to grow: Sow thinly 0.25in (0.5cm) deep in flowering position. Keep soil moist. Alternatively sow in September for an earlier display the following year. Thin out to 9in (25cm) apart. Remove dead flowers to prolong flowering season. Flowers: Late Spring to early Autumn
