When to plant: All year
How to grow: Plant 5mm deep into well prepared soil. Water regularly and apply liquid fertiliser every 14 days. Make successive sowings from early spring to later summer for a continuous supply. Lettuce should be grown quickly so that hearts and leaves are crisp and juicy. They can be grown all year but try and avoid the hottest times for best results. Harvest: 10-12 weeks
