Originally from Asia, these delicate sprays of single white blooms are ideal for borders or as cut flowers. Grows quite quickly.
When to plant: Year round How to grow: A hardy annual, sow 5mm (quarter-inch) deep direct where they are to flowers. Choose a sunny sheltered position and prepare your soil well by adding organic matter and a general purpose fertiliser. Thin plants if you wish, although they do flower well in clumps. Grow in odd clumps around the garden and use flowers in arrangements or bouquets. Flowers: 10 weeks after sowing
