Traditional, early maturing gherkin, for pickling whole or sliced. Good yields throughout the summer.
When to plant: Spring and early Summer How to grow: Sow outdoors October-December. Protect young plants with cloches to aid establishment in cold areas. Alternatively, sow under glass, placing each seed on its side, in pots of seed compost. Keep young plants in a frame or greenhouse, harden off and plant out in final position late October to early December. Harvest: Summer and Autumn
