Easy to grow, producing prolific crops of small fairly round cues which become deeper yellow as they mature.
When to plant: Spring to mid Summer How to grow: In cold climates, Sow in September, placing each seed on its side 0.75in (2cm) deep in 3in. pots of seed compost at a temperature of approx. 21C. Harden off and plant out in late October to early December, spacing 3ft. (90cm) apart. Retain both male and female flowers. Alternatively, sow two seeds per final position, 0.75in (2cm) deep in October-December. When the plants have the first true leaves, thin to one plant per position. Protect young plants with cloches in cold weather. Harvest: Summer and Autumn
