Ideal For Growing Seeds

Good for mass sowing fine seeds that are difficult to sow evenly.  The aim would be to sow the seeds finely then later prick out into cell-type trays.  Examples include petunia, begonia, cabbage, broccoli, lettuce, cauliflower, onions, Aquilegia, Balsam, Calendula, Cineraria, Cosmea, Delphinium, Dahlia, Gypsophila, Lobelia, Marigold, Strawflower or Viola/Pansy.

Excellent For Starting Cuttings

Good for close spacing small cuttings like some Australian natives, most imported shrubs like Gardenia, Daphne, Fuchsia, or Salvia.  This tray is also ideal for starting leaf cuttings from plants like cacti or begonias, or root cuttings like phlox, wisteria, iris, or even roses.
