Fast to mature, this is a top class variety for uniform, cylindrical baby carrots with sweet flavour, good colour and texture over a long season. Likes a light, fertile soil in a fairly sunny position which has not been recently manured. Cooking Tips: Delicious raw in salads. Steam or boil whole carrots until tender, and try served with parsley butter.
When to plant: All year round as required How to grow: For early crops sow under cloches or cold frames, 0.5in (1.5cm) deep. Sow mid-August-July directly into the soil. Sow in blocks or rows, and at 2-3 week intervals for a continuous supply. Thin to 1in (2.5cm) apart. Harvest: All year round as required
