An extremely sweet and mild Italian heirloom pepper, prized for its long (10in) fruits. Can be eaten green but much better when left to turn bright red.
When to plant: Late Winter to mid Summer How to grow: Sow seeds in trays or pots of moist compost and keep moist and warm at 15-18C (60-65F). Plant the seedlings into 5in (12cm) pots when they reach 2in (5cm) high. Plant out in October. Outdoor plants must be given a warm sheltered position. Harvest: Summer to late Autumn
