Large flowers of vibrant orange, each with a distinctive crested green centre. Very easy to grow they make excellent cut flowers and are a true old fashioned cottage garden plant. A hardy annual flowering the same year. Prefers a sunny position.
When to plant: Autumn or Spring How to grow: Sow 0.5in (1.5cm) deep in flowering position. Keep moist. Thin out to 9in (23cm) apart. Or, sow August to October, in the flowering position, to flower the following spring. Dead head plants to prolong flowering season. Flowers: Throughout the year
