This stunning white Aquilegia features beautiful layered flowers turning from soft lime-green to white. The grey-green foliage forms delicate clumps that make good groundcover. An ideal addition to your cottage garden, perennial border or white-themed garden.
When to plant: Autumn to early Winter. How to grow: Sow seeds 5mm (1/4in deep) in seed tray. Press down lightly and keep moist. Cover with clean polythene – remove when germination commences. Transplant when 5-7cm (2-3in) high and space 30-40cm (12-16in) apart. Water regularly, particularly in dry weather. Mulch well. Feed with soluble fertilizer when buds appear. Seedlings emerge in about 21-28 days. Flowers: Late Winter and Spring.
